  I see a Certified Nurse Midwife that practices at Methodist (so plenty of ob's around).  Her name is Kaisa Johnson and she's awesome.  In either case those, Park Nicollet/Methodist has a fantastic OB department and you can find someone great there...right in SLP.

  I've liked the Dr's at the Paul Larson clinic in Edina.  You can google their web site. I like Dr. Hirt.

  My OB/GYN for the past few years has been Dr. Thorp at the park Nicollet Minneapolis clinic. 
  
  Now that I'm pregnant, I'll continue to see her through my pregnancy.   I am going to look into midwives out of curiosity though before I get too much further into my pg.

  Dr Marcia Caron at Park Nicollet in St Louis Park is great- she delivers at Methodist.

  i also used the midwives at park nicollet.  kaisa was great.  so were kira and amy.  vida delivered adrian and she was wonderful too.  can't recommend them enough!
