Just lost my job...

and I don't care anymore! I'm on maternity leave from Motherhood in *** Rapids and was told that it was up on Dec 27. I just got a call to tell me that it is really up on the 15th and if I can't come back by the 28th and work that weekend than I am terminated. I had told them from the begining that I won't be able to come back until the begining of Jan. because DH won't be back (hence laid-off) until then. He has been working and living in SD for the past 4 months. I won't have anyone to watch our girls at night if he isn't here. I have the highest sales numbers in the history of that location and I terminated just like that! Screw 'em! I only worked pt- almost every weeknight and almost every Sat. the $ wasn't all that great and I missed my family, but still... I think what really gets me mad is that I was basically told that they found my replacement right after I went on leave. URGH! It feels like I'm getting the boot 'cause I have kids- but I know that that isn't the real case. Oh well. Thanks for letting me vent!
