Gift for daycare provider?

My 3.5 month old has only been there two weeks-what should I get her for Christmas?  I was thinking cash-but how much?

    Instead of cash, how about a giftcard to Target, Barnes and Noble or Starbucks?  Maybe $15-20?  I used to be an infant teacher, and those types of gifts were common and very much appreciated!

    We usually do a GC to Target.  Our daughter goes full time and we give $25.

    Hi, I'm new here, but thought I would put my 2 cents in.  I planned on getting her a $25 gc for our local spa so she can pamper herself.  Sounds like $25 is a good number to me!

    At my daycare center, everyone pitches in whatever amount of cash they want and the director uses the money towards gift cards for the staff and also a party.  In addition, I brought in a big box of candy for the teachers in her room.
