My belated unpopular opinion

I was all ready to go yesterday and then forgot about it.

I hate the prints on diapers. Why can't they just make plain white disposable diapers? I don't need cartoons on her butt. I don't need the little fake stitching or whatever the heck it is around the edges. If it was plain white, I might even let her hang out in just a diaper occasionally. I don't do it because I hate seeing the stupid graphics.

This HAS to be an unpopular opinion or the diaper companies would stop printing their diapers with nonsense.

We use cloth (so much cuter) but when he has to be in sposies, we use Up&Up, and theirs are just polka dots. Infinitely better than cartoon characters.

Ugh, I hate prints on diapers. I remember still being pregnant and looking at diapers and going, "Can't use these because they have Winnie the Pooh on them, yuck, and oh gross, these have Blues Clues..." You get the point. We ended up with the Sesame Street ones. They keep the poop in, so whatever. I hate pictures of babies in just diapers (except cloth) and DD never hangs out in one because they look so tacky with all the print on them. I really wish I wasn't a laze sometimes and would have just cloth diapered DD.

I agree with this.

The cartoons are part of why I buy Pampers instead of Huggies. I rather see Elmo on his butt than Minnie & Mickey. They get on my nerves for some reason

I agree about the characters, but I LOVE our Target diapers with the polka dots--they are adorable!!!

I normally like Children's Place clothes, but those are weird. My DD will not be wearing a halter top in the near future...DH would freak out.

I do like the printing/cartoon characters on diapers though.

I have to say I would agree EXCEPT I see the reason now that I have a toddler. Most of the time, I can only get him to cooperate for a diaper change because we can talk about who is on his diaper!! Elmo is my life saver these days

I totally agree. I photoshop them out or put a cloth diaper cover on DS when I want to take diaper only photos because I HATE them.

totally unrelated to the op, but I totally agree!! I really hope that DD doesn't take to Micky and Minny, and all they other Disney gang, b/c I'm not a fan. You know what bothers me more than that? Grown woman who are all gaga over Mickey and Minney. Grow up. Sorry, I guess there is my up pop opinion.

There is a pair that is similar but in a patchwork style...slightly less...busy.

As for diapers, Luvs are the closest thing to plain white that I've found. They just have Blue's Clues on the waist but the rest of the diaper is just white. But, ditto. I wish diapers were just plain.

In regards to baby clothes....I think MOST children's clothes from everywhere cross the line into tacky territory. I'm pretty picky. I want people to notice the cute baby, then notice her dress. Not the other way around.

Another one of the many reasons we cloth diaper! Hate the characters and can't stand the smell of them.
