Northern California Babies

::Ava::

I heard a rumor....that you have the Pikkolo. I have been AGONIZING over this decision and was thisclose to buying it today. I like the fact that baby can be forward facing in the Pikkolo, but get a little concerned with the "learning curve" that they talk about. Do you like yours? Did you try other carriers before choosing this one? What do you like about it? If you had the opportunity - would you buy it again?

 Thanks Big Smile

  • I LOVE the Pokkolo. Everyone goes for the Becco / Ergo, which are both great, but I wonder if they flock to those two because the names are so popular and they don't know other options exist.

    G HATED facing in, so I really needed a carrier versatile enough to do forward facing front-carry. The Pikkolo is great. It does that, plus hip, plus back carry. As G got older, the hip carry was awesome, and now he's pretty happy in a back carry too. He's simply too heave for me to do a front-carry now.

    I have a Bjorn that we inherited from some friends and 2 Moby's. The Bjorn just busted my back, and DH complained from back pain too. And this was only with an 8lb kid. The Moby is wonderful, and I still hold on to mine, but after awhile you just want something that goes on quickly.

    Yes, I would absolutely get another one again.
