Change in Baby's Cry...

Have any of you ever noticed that the sound of your babies cry is suddenly different?  My ds cry has totally changed--almost raspy kinof.  Is this normal for a babies cry to change like that...it's really weird.

    Yep, that happened with one of my little guys. For him, it was caused by his reflux suddenly getting much worse. All of the sudden he started sounding hoarse. Does your little guy have any other symptoms of reflux?

    Yep, one of my DS suddenly got a hoarse voice and I thought it was because I was trying to deal with his brother so he was left screaming for a few minutes.  I felt awful but after a week it hadn't gone away.  I took him to the dr and it was his reflux so we had to up his meds.
    If it continues I would take him in, sounds like a reflux-y thing to me

    Yeah, DS is on prilosec (we just changed from Zantac) so maybe I should ask about it.  His other symptoms don't seem to have gotten any worse though but I'll ask the pedi...thanks!
