makers of choc chip cookie dough dip...

this fab recipe was shared a few weeks ago and i'm making it for easter. is it ok to refrigerate overnight before serving? i just want to make sure it's not going to get funny or solid. i would think yes but just checking. thanks!

    LOL! I am dying to make a batch and just eat it with a spoon!

    1 stick of butter melted (yeah, my arteries are clogging at the thought!)

    1 8oz block of cream cheese

    1 1/2 cups of brown sugar

    1 bag of mini chocolate chips

    Blend butter, cream cheese and brown sugar in a mixer. Stir in chips. Refrigerate 1 hour. Serve with graham crackers or nilla wafers.

    I'm going to serve with some fresh fruit too.

    I might use the lower fat cream cheese for easier justification. I'm envisioning a beautiful whipped dip coming out of my mixer!

    It's fine to refridgerate overnight, in fact, that's what I usually do.  I find that it tastes better after it's been in the refridgerator for at least a few hours.
