My DH is the best!!!
So my DH is wonderful! Today is my birthday and I have to admit that I wasn't really looking forward to it at first. For one thing I'm one of the 'and holding' ages so for the next year no one is even going to believe that I really am 29. grrr
But DH has spoiled me rotten and not in highly expensive ways. We talked about how we're saving for our adoption costs right now and I released him from that, but he is so wonderful. He bought me a couple of clothing items that I've been talking about for months, took me to brunch at my favorite place and then bought me my favorite loose tea and a tea ball so I can have it at work later today. It's the little things that mean so much....and he promised that next year he and the baby will make me a card together...sure we don't precisely when we'll get a referral but what a wonderful thing to look forward to.
OK, I'm done. I just needed to brag on my man. For all the pain and stress that this roller coaster ride of IF and now IA has been, I wouldn't dream of walking through it with anyone else.

From this post and others you've made about him, he really does sound sweet and caring. It's so wonderful your husband goes out of his way to show you how much he loves you, and I'm sure it's sweetened by the fact that he did it all while still keeping your savings goals in mind.

But for the record, I don't believe in "holding ages." You count forward until the next number is scary, and then reverse directions. Repeat as necessary!

Aww, that is so sweet of him. I know those birthdays are hard (I had a couple while waiting too).
