I don't feel like selling everything i own for the thomas train table / set...so i'm looking at the others. Anyone have recs of good? Anything i should stay away from? Carter is obsessed with trains! He threw fit when we left TRU without one
We inherited ours from my nephews and we have the pottery barn train table and the geotrax train set. It's great and I know my nephews used it until they were at least 6. You can keep buying sets to add to it and it has remote control levers to make the trains go.
The Imaginarium brand one is a really good one at TRUS. Ours is a hand me down but I think the new one retails somewhere in the $130 range and it comes with a great set and some trains. You can always add the real Thomas accesories as you go. And check Craigslist...I am always seeing train tables on there!
We got this one for Colin for Christmas. He absolutely loves it and it's compatible with the Thomas trains. We also love that he can't pull the track apart.
Oh and I forgot to mention....we had to glue the track down. I know some people wouldn't want to do that but it was either that or rebuilding the track 5 times a day!! LOL!!
