What is your favorite food/exercise tracking site?

I normally use Myfooddiary.com, but it is $9/month and I don't think I use it regularly enough to pay the money.  It's not much, but in this economy every penny helps.

What site do you use?  Does it have a lot of food options to put in?  Is it user friendly?

Thanks!

  • caloriesperhour.com is amazing. They have lots of good food info and if you need more name brand stuff, calorie king is great too. But caloriesperhour.com also has loads of activities in their calories burned calculator and even have specific calculators for running, walking, and elliptical machines (which burn far less than everyone assumes). I highly, highly recommend entering in the average activities you do on a daily basis to get your calories burned and then try to adjust your caloric intake accordingly to make sure you're not overeating.

  • myfitnesspal.com

It is user friendly, has a lot of food options (and if it doesn't you can add yours), it saves meals (so if you eat the same thing for breakfast each day youdon'thave to add each thing every dya), it has message boards, youcan customize what you are counting besides calories, fat, etc.(for example when I was on WW I added to watch my fiber intake soI coudl easily see to calculate points).  It lets you track your exercise and it keeps track of when you log on and sends you a message if you haven't been on in days.  Oh and its free.

  • Love thedailyplate.com...it also partners with Livestrong, its free, but there is also an app for it (2.99 one time fee) so i can track at work, at a restaurant, at home and they all synch together...i have been using it for a couple of years now and it is great...they have groups, email, and the ability to track tons of foods...it saves recipes and your most frequently tracked items (food and exercise)...it tracks calories, fat, cholesterol, fiber, sugar, protein, and daily water too...
  • I use an app for my iphone called Lose It..its free and easy!
