This is a weekly check-in for women who have experiences a Stillbirth/Late Loss/ or Infant Loss. Hopefully this will be a chance for us to connect and provide additional support on our losses with other women who understand. Angel Info: Baby boy had a very rare chromosomal disorder- a partial deletion on chromosome 21 as well as a partial trisomy of chromosome 4 attached to chromosome 21. Our baby died on March 24, 2008 and was delivered on March 26.

Angel Info: Our baby boy's name was Jordan, at 41 wks & 4 days I was induced. Dr broke my water and discovered meconium, I had an emergency c/s 10 hrs later when my baby's h/b stopped. He was born still at 8:40 am on 2/17/08. Autopsy results confirmed that his lungs were full of meconium which caused him to not be able to breath.

2. This has been difficult to determine. My DH and I go back and forth on are we ready or not. I am desperately trying to lose the 20-30 lbs. the OB and hematolgist suggested before we try again. I know we will not want to try this cycle because we got pg with Wyatt in October of last year and do not want to be due again around the same time. So hopefully I can be successful in my weight loss goals so maybe we can think about trying next month.
3. I love summer. I love to swim and be outside in the sunshine. I love shorts and tank tops. I don't even mind the heat. It also probably doesn't hurt that my birthday is in July! (=

1. No real updates for me. We started TTC again last month, but we may not try this month... I should O this weekend, but my FIL is in the ICU on a respirator (but he's getting better each day), so we'll be visiting the fam this weekend... which may impact our trying. My DH asked me on Sunday when I'd O this month, and I told him when, but told him not to worry about that right now until his dad is OK... we'll see if we might do just a little trying...
2. This is something I have thought a lot about. We started trying just over 3 months after our loss, which was after my 3rd cycle. I'm still totally scared, but I think my fear of not being a parent has outweighed my fear of something bad happening again. I guess I am able to come to terms with the fact that I can't really do anything to prevent something bad happening again, but that I can do something to help us become parents. The stress of TTC is a lot, though... I cried a lot last month, especially when we got our BFN. Not so much because of the BFN, but because I just want something to be easy for us soon....
3. I love summer because I am a teacher and don't work, and I love winter because I LOVE the snow....

Angel Info: Joshua was still born on August 17,2008 due to me having severe preeclampsia and HELLP syndrome. He was almost 22 weeks.
2. I think we are ready to start again. Mostly because we feel we have no choice (have to do it through IVF) and I have "bad" ovaries that progressively will get worse.
3. I love, love , love the fall with the changing leaves and the orange,burgandy, gold, and browns that are asosciated with it. I got married specifically in the fall because of that!

Angel Info: Gabrielle was 20 wk 4d, she became an angel because my cervix open too soon due to incompetent cervix.
My husband and I are thinking about trying in the middle of the month. I am so scared.
We've decided now because I'm going to be 33 in Jan and don't want more to worry about.
My favorite season is winter/christmas. I love looking at the snow. and giving everyone I love gifts and watching them open them.
I also want to think all of you ladies. I don't post much but I do lurk. You all have been great.
I am going through such a difficult time dealing with my second stillbirth delivery, and third loss.
2. My doctors said as soon as I stop bleeding, I can start. I have my follow up in a month, and I will try immediately afterwards. There is no reason for me to wait.
3. My fav season used to be fall, but I just moved to CA - no pretty changing leaves here.
4. hmmm..maybe the next QOTD would be any fun weekend trips or vacations you and DH are planning.
2. Pg related QOTD: How have you determined it is the right time to try again? (Thanks Irishmama) We knew we had to start ASAP because we are dealing with severe infertility and can only conceive via IVF (and the older I get, the lower our chances), and it takes about 2.5 - 3 months for just one try.

2. I haven't determined that yet. We are talking about the first of the year, maybe sooner depending on how things go and what the high risk OB says. I'm curious to see other people's answers though.
3. Summer with Fall a close second. I love the sunshine and warm weather though.
