DD is almost 5 weeks old now...I'm still wearing maternity clothes. Not even close to wearing my old clothes. I'm BFing, but wondering when will the weight start falling off like everyone has told me? Starting my workout next week and looking forward to it. I'm back at work too already so I'm extra tired and just plain exhausted. I can't even fit into normal clothes in the women's section. Maternity seems like my only way to go right now.
Re: Anyone still wearing Maternity Clothes?
I'm still in my maternity jeans. I can wear most of my tops from before as long as there is enough room in the chest. I tried on a pair of regular jeans today and felt so flabby ... ugh. I really wanted something new for Easter but nothing feels like it looks right. I can't see any of it changing till I amp up my exercising.
My friend is 4 months pp and just now got back into one pair of her pre-preg pants.
I'm BFing too, and the weight NEVER just "fell off" for me. A few of my blog readers have said that for them, they noticed the easiest weight loss between 4 and 5 months PP.
I'm not in maternity clothes, but I'm not in my normal size either. I just felt like regular jeans hold in the belly a bit better than maternity jeans.
Aah, I love this post
I'm so glad I'm not the only one. I just had a little mini-breakdown (no crying, just lots of frowns and worry) in the Target dressing room because NOTHING fits me! My boobs are even more humongous (38I right now) than normal b/c I'm EBF and I have a big fat flap right above my c-sec incision that jeans will NOT button over. I have gone up a size in my jeans and they still won't button over the pooch AND they don't fit in the legs/butt. I don't know what I'm going to do. I guess I'll keep wearing the one pair of maternity jeans that still fit me and keep working out. I'm about 8lb from my pre-preg weight, but my shape is so different now.
I'm also glad to hear I'm not the only EBFer whose weight has not magically disappeared like everyone keeps insisting it will. LIARS! lol

I'm wearing my early maternity jeans right now! Yesterday I went out and bought a pair of regular jeans (I bought a size 12--used to be an 8) because I'm tired of constantly pulling up the maternity jeans! Ugh.
I'm in the terrible in between phase--my maternity clothes are too big and my prepreg clothes are too small, and my chest is bigger so my old shirts are too short...and my feet have grown a half size, so my shoes don't fit either! My jackets and coats don't fit for the same reason...
