How is everyone doing this week? I did day 1 of the 30 day shred on Tuesday and was soooooo sore yesterday. I am still sore today, but I am ready for day 2!! 

What's your inspiration?

I have an extensive (and expensive) collection of work clothes that I NEED to fit into when I go back to work. I have 6 weeks to do it! My other big motivator is that we are going home in a few weeks and I certainly don't need to see my old friends with this jiggly belly and huge butt.

    I am doing the shred too, but I am back to work now and it is alot harder to do it after work, but today is my day off and I am determined to get it done today!  My inspiration is summer and beach season!!

    5 lb to lose

    I also would like to fit into my work cloths before I go back and tone up for summer.  Right now I can't get my "new" hips into any of my pants - boohoo

  • I walked yesterday, a mile.  DH went with me and pushed the stroller since I am not cleared yet to seriously excerise.  It was a beautiful day, the sun and birds were out. 

    My inspiration is that we can not afford new work clothes so, once I go back to work in July I have to be back into my old work clothes.

    kls621 -  I have lost the pregnancy weight (20 lbs) and then some (15 more). But for my goal weight I still have 65 lbs. to go.

    I have a personal trainer right now once a week. Daily walks with my DS and starting next week, extra cardio at least a half hour a day.

    Thanks for posting this, this may be just the extra motivation I need.

    ALG29, Andrea, more or less maintaining my weight

    My inspiration is to be able to fit into my jeans again.  I went out and bought a couple pairs of bigger ones but I want to be able to squeeze my butt back into my jeans.  I'm doing the shred and walking.

  • went to the gym for 45 minutes yesterday. spent half the time on the treadmill, the other half on the bike. i'm taking today off to recover from last nights date night - had a couple drinks at dinner and wow, my tolerance is not what it used to be! oof.?

    So, this is going to sound really cheesy (and I'm not normally a cheesy, sappy kind of girl).  But my son is my inspiration.  I was becoming overweight before I got pregnant, and finding out I was having him was a big wake-up call.  I was just being lazy in grad school, and the pounds creeped on.  But I don't want to be a fat mom.  I want to be a super-cute, active, fun mom--who can wear skinny jeans, and run around in the park, and go rock climbing with him, etc.  So I'm going to be!  I was lucky not to gain during pregnancy, so I'm doing well, but I have less than 15 lbs to go to get back to my college weight.  It's not the tiniest I've ever been (which was from when I was still a ballet dancer--never going to see that size again, and I shouldn't want to!), but it's a happy, healthy weight for me. 

    Anyone else doing WW Online?--I started this week.  I'm also starting gyrotonics classes this week (yay!).  But a 20-minute walk with him in his stroller kicked my @ss yesterday and started bleeding again, so I'm concentrating more on the eating for now. 

  • While my Easter candy problem is still alive and well, I ate significantly less of it yesterday, which I guess I progress.  LO has been going through a growth spurt the last 2 days and DH was out of town, so I've had little time to work out.  I don't think this weekend will go very well since we're going home for Easter, but I'd like to get out for some walks since the weather is going to be nice.

    My inspiration is my job!  I have to pass the Air Force fitness test in August.  I also don't want to buy new uniforms, so I need to at least squeeze into my fat pants in two weeks.

    I have lost a little more than half of my pregnancy weight and have about 20 more pounds to go.

    My sons baptism at the end of the month and going back to work in May are my biggest motivators right now. I did level one of 30 day shred today and love feeling like I am doing something now! :) 

  • The weather is perfect outside today so I plan on going on a nice long walk with LO and our puppies.

    My inspiration is purely myself. I miss my skinny prepregnancy body and my extensive wardrobe options and it definately will be nice to make hubby's jaw drop again.

    I have 5 more pregnancy pounds to lose, I'd like to lose about 20 more...or lose 2 pants sizes, whichever comes first!!!

    I also want to be a fit, energetic, and active mom for Landon. I also have a wedding I'm in in October, so I want to be smokin' for that!!! lol

  • We are going for a long walk today. Also I cleaned my house yesterday... hopefully that burned some calories. lol. Oh and at the grocery store yesterday I said no to chips and cookies! Go me!

    My inspiration is my self esteem. I feel awful about myself and know that I can't be this way forever. It is affecting my relationship with DH and I don't want it to be like this. I want to feel pretty again!

    Let's say 25 lbs.

     I just want to go back to my old size pre-pregnancy.  I had just bought a bunch of cute (and expensive) jeans and I want to get back in them!  Plus, I just want to be healthier overall.  I'm not cleared yet for exercise so I've only been walking but I cannot wait to get started on the 30 Day Shred.  I started it pre-pregnancy and loved it.

    My inspiration is my daughter. I want to be healthy and set a good example for her. Getting in shape is step one in this goal.

  • The weather is amazing so I walk to the hospital. It's about a 15 minute walk (5 minute drive) and I go two times a day. It's nice to get some sort of excercise in!

    My inspiration is that I have a lot of clothes that are size 0 and XS. I refuse to buy a bigger size so all of those clothes need to fit. Plus, we are going on vacation in August and I need to be in great shape for that!

  • My big inspiration is that I am disgusted with the way my body looks, and not from pregnancy. Aside from some stretch marks and a slightly jigglier belly, I look pretty much like I did when I got pregnant.

    I had been at my current goal weight by going on South Beach. Then I started dating my partner and got comfortable in a stable, loving relationship. I thought about South Beach again when I realized how much weight I'd put on, but by then we were TTC and I didn't want to put my body in any drastic diet changes. Then I was pregnant so I obviously didn't want to do a diet then either. So here I am!

     Erin - 15 pounds to go. 

     I ordered 30 day shred this week and should be arriving next week. I have 4 weeks left until I head back to work and would like to fit in more than just 2 of my pants! Plus...I am waiting to buy any new clothes until I'm back to my "normal" size
