That's awesome that it went well Lily. I am happy for you! I remember the first visit. Definitely nervous. At the end all for nothing. DH was shocked at how quickly SS took to me. SS was 1.5 years old when I met him.
He's 16 y/o and I was so nervous that it was going to be a problem. I felt like I needed to have a "role" and couldn't wrap my mind around it. It worked out so well. Very respectful. A few testing moments but I handled them well.
