Prenatal Vitamins (a little graphic)

Ok so does anyone take them? When I called to schedule my appointment the doctor called in a prescription. I started taking them on Sunday and I have been getting the worst taste in my mouth! Worse than that, I have THE MOST disgusting tasting burps ever. YUCK! I know that taking these vitamins are a must, but why are they so gross!?

I've been taking the Target brand combo pack for 2 months now and haven't had any problems. I take mine at night. Maybe that'll help you.

I take Rainbow Light One a Day. I have taken them since January. They are all natural, so no weird tastes. This is one of the only vitamins that doesn't make me nausea.

Ask your doc for a different prescription. Last pregnancy I tried three scripts before I could keep one down. Totally understand that nasty taste you are talking about.

I've been on Prenatal Plus or something like that (prescription) for a while now and I haven't had any side effects. I take it before bed just in case because they are known to cause stomach discomfort. I would see if they can switch you to another one.

I take the Materna brand (made by Centrum) and take them right after dinner. Haven't had any issues.

I had that problem with TandemDHA vitamins and I hated them. My dr. told me to just switch to OTC prenatal and take a fish-oil supplement. I got one of those that specifically said no fishy taste, and it seemed so much better!

Prenatal Vitamins always made me super sick. I ended up just taking 2 flintstone vitamins every morning.
