Hi Ladies!
I lurk here all the time, but don't post too often. I just wanted to say I love how educated you all are, and wish nothing but the best for you all.
I'm hoping you can help me with a question. I just got bloodwork results back from my RE - round 1 of clomid did not make me ovulate (50 mg). I've been upped to 100 mg for my next cycle. Has anyone here had a hard time ovulating on clomid? I'm at such a loss... all my hormone levels come back normal, but I seem to have stubborn ovaries
TIA

Ditto on this - I did 2 rounds of clomid, 150mg and 200mg. Zippo response,
Hopefully that won't be the case for you - I know LOTS of Clomid babies!
4 Fresh IVF cycles + 1 FET where embies didn't survive the thaw = 2 perfect little men!

My doctor doesn't monitor me on clomid. I wish he did. I don't know if things are done differently up here in Canada, or what? I will call and ask if that's an option for my next round.
I picked up my clomid and prometrium, so hopefully AF will be here in 10 days or so, and this good times roller coaster will begin again.
Thank you for all your help. Best of luck to you all
That is one reason behind monitoring. That way you can determine if/when you ovulate and get your b/w done at 7dpo, no matter what cd that is. For me, normal ovulation day with clomid or femara is cd20, so I go from there.
Other reasons is to check for thickness of lining, OHSS, or even to determine if you need a trigger shot.
