Pregnant after a Loss

Pain question

I have had pinching pain that goes back and forth from right to left side for the past few weeks. Today it is pretty bad. I am not cramping, just the pinching that is starting to hurt pretty bad.

I know, you are not all doctors, but I just want to know if this is normal. I am not worried about ectopic because a) I have had an u/s and baby is in the ute. b) it is switching sides.

Has anyone had this before?

Re: Pain question

  • RLP maybe?

I thought that too. The only way to explain the location is that I thought it was ovarian pain. It is high and really to the side.

  • Sounds like RLP to me.  Is it triggered by movement?  Mine always was.  And sometimes it even took my breath away, it was so sharp.

It does hurt more usually when moving or sitting cross legged. When I stretch out it doesn't hurt as much or when I do the stretch where you put your feet together and let your knees fall to the side.

  • Around 10-12 weeks, I had an occasional alternating pinch. When I told the doctor about it, he said it was likely my uterus growing and stretching. He said it is most common to feel that pinch as the uterus grows up and over the pelvic bone. HTH.
