Mixing??

Is it ok to mix containers of pumped BM? If it is pumped on the same day? I have to pump becuase they are monitoring DS's intake closely and when I pump I do not get enough for each feeding.

My DS eats 4ounces and I usually pump 5... so I mix to get 4 ounce bottles. My pedi said it was fine.

Thank you!! DS eats 3 ounces and I can only pump 1.5 so mixing two together will help!

I think the only rules about mixing involve temperature (ex: dont mix body temp/fresh milk w/ cold milk--it can cause the milk to curdle) but even with that rule as long as there is more cold milk than warm milk its fine
