Anyone have the Lansinoh Double Electric pump??

Does anyone have this pump?  What do you think?  DS is completely breast resistant at this point so I am pumping and and bottle feeding him.  My Medela Single Deluxe isn't cutting it.  Since I am already 5 months in, I don't want to spend all that money on a Medela PISA and the Lansinoh got good reviews on the Target and BRU websites.  I just need something that's fairly quick and reliable for a few more momths.  TIA.

  • I like it.  I don't use it on a regular basis, but I've never had any problems with it.  It's relatively easy to clean, and you don't have to worry about milk in the tubes.

  • I like it, I pump 3-4 times a day and usually can get a full bottle and maybe a little extra each time.... Worth it in my opinion

  • Love it, I always like to rave about it here when given the chance. It is very efficient, cheap (compared to the PISA), gets great reviews, and is very easy to clean/assemble. Another great thing about it, is that it is a "closed system" so milk and condensation can't get into the tubing, nor do you ever have to clean the tubing. No danger of milk backing up into the motor, or mold growing inside the tubing. I am constantly seeing posts about PISA users having tubing issues...not with the Lansinoh though! I definitely recommend it...go for it!

PS: I used it for 2 months with #1 about 3 times a day and am starting to use it again with #2, about 2 times a day for now - no problems yet!

  • It didn't work for me well (I rent a Medela now), but most on here seem to like it.  If you're 5 months in, maybe just rent one from a LC?
  • I have one & I like it very much. I would suggest, since it's a closed system, getting a cheap used one on ebay & replacing the parts.. but honestly, it's so easy to sanitize since there's no milk in the tubing/pump itself, that I'd probably just run the used parts through the dishwasher a few times & buy new membranes (the white things).
