Not again. ~cancer related~

My parents' good friend and neighbor, P., was just diagnosed with cancer. I'm not sure what the source cancer is, but it's EVERYWHERE. He has huge tumors in his lungs, and liver, and the cancer is already in his lymph nodes and bones. His doctor thinks he has 3 months to a year left.

P. and my dad were pretty close, and I know my dad's death last month really hit P. hard. My mom is trying to console P's wife and offer whatever advice and insight she can.

I can't believe that someone else we know is dying of cancer. This just plain SUCKS. It sucks, and it's not fair.

that does suck and it's not fair. you're right. i am SO sorry that your family is having to go through this again.

i think your mom being there for P's wife will be invaluable.

I am so sorry. Cancer freaking sucksass. My dad has an old Air Force buddy who has lung cancer with mets to his brain. He and his wife were my parents' RVing buddies. It's been so hard to watch both of them go through it so I kind of understand what you're feeling.

I am sorry and I understand...when we lost my dad to cancer as well, we soon after lost my godmother and my best friend's father died a few months later too.

It does really suck. <<hugs>>

I'm so sorry! Cancer really does suck big time. I lost my grandfather to it 3 1/2 years ago and still can't believe he is gone. Lots of T&Ps going out to your family
