  My step-son is going to be 7 when baby come!!!  But we hope that we have a # 3 someday too and it wont be that far apart from # 2! 

  Anybody have older kids like us and will have a BIG age difference?  We don't plan on telling him until we are further along, but I think he will like having a sibling!

  I was 10 almost 11 when my brother & sister came along. My other sister was 8. We are all very close. Your step-son will love it I'm sure.

  My kids will be 6 and 9 when the baby is born.  Right now they are super excited and being very helpful when I'm not feeling good.  DD wants a girl, DS wants a boy.  Each of them wants the baby in their own room to keep!  I think they will have fun while they are little but won't be as close as DD & DS are together. 

  We plan on having this one plus two more close in age so they grow up together.  My brother and sisters were 7, 8, 10, and 12 years older than me and we were never close.  More like aunts, and they still are.

  I was 3 when my sister was born and 6.5 when my brother came along.  I am very close to both of them, don't worry!
