I forget to note the time that LO falls asleep for his nap. I know that knowing the time won't make him sleep longer or get up sooner. . . but still. It helps to figure out if I have time to unload the dishwasher before I take a nap! LOL!
What do you "hate"?
Re: I hate when. . .
I hate it when people use my computer while I'm on my lunch break and don't make sure that my office is exactly as they found it, nor do they tell me they were at my computer. Respect, people!
Oh, and I also hate it when people just walk into my office when the door is closed. I know there is glass in the door, and my desk faces the door, so I can see them coming, but that does not give them license to just walk right in! I knock on their doors and would appreciate the same courtesy!

....teething ruins good sleep and makes nice toddlers into little monsters.
....people call and expect you to not have plans or drop you plans because they messed up and need to see your kids (Ethan's EI teacher)
....family I have never met sends FUGLY clothing and expects me to put my boys in it. (sweater vests with golf pants this time)
....people ask if it is ok to do something after they have already done it.
I hate a really oaky chardonnay (just kidding...)
I hate when ginny naps and the garbage truck is outside. people make me insane with their overuse of car horns. the beeping and honking always wakes her up.

You can hear street sounds that loudly from the 16th floor? Even with the windows closed??

OMG YES!!!
And I hate a lot of people with their dogs. Sorry, I'm sure this will offend some because people love their dogs. It's not that I don't like dogs, it's just that I'm not 100% comfortable with a dog I don't know and that is amplified with the kids. So it really pissed me off when people (a few neighbors in particular) let their dog stick it's face in my kids' faces in the stroller when we're out for a walk. You may trust that it won't bite, but I don't. Also, if it jumps on me, I'm going to kick it. Grrrr....
(For the record, I love nice, well-trained dogs. It's really the people who are behaving badly, not the dog.)
when you have 3 cabs, 2 trucks and 4 cars from jersey all (impatiently) waiting for the garbage truck it gets CRAZY! so annoying!

I hate when Garrison falls asleep in her stoller at starbucks and pretentious a-holes make their horns beep when they lock their car. I realize some cars will not engage the alarm "silently" but that is a small percentage and I think some people are just schmucks.
And...I actually prefer an oaky chardonnay (though I will not pass up a crisp, non oaky chardonnay either) heck, I will not pass up a bottle in a brown paper bag at this point : )
I LOVE my dog and I agree w/ you. I would never let him go up to anyone much less a baby w/o their ok. It's rude and of course it makes you uneasy.
