I've totally missed the boat (literally) for overseas postage for my niece. She turns 4 in a few weeks, and the books we'd got won't get there in time (unless I spend 4x their worth on airmail). She likes Lego and princess-y stuff. And I need to buy it online (from the UK, to be delivered in the US). Any suggestions?

Can you not buy online in the US to be delivered in the US? You'd save a boat load... we used to do that all the time.
I'd probably go with Lego if she likes it - they have some girlier sets, though really any lego is pretty cool if kids like that sort of thing.
Thanks!
Hamilton, that's what I meant, buying in the US. Sorry, I'm a bit jumbled today.
I'll look into lego and etsy. It's so hard finding something that her older brother doesn't already have.
So I just checked the Lego website and it looks like the Belville sets are the ones geared towards girls, if you care about that at all. They seem to be all about horseback riding or something. They also have a new Toy Story line since the third movie is coming out - that could be popular and probably something the brother doesn't have yet since they're new. I don't know any kids who don't like Toy Story. Bruce hasn't ever even seen it and he's obsessed with Buzz Lightyear at the moment!
The Belville stuff starts at 5+, the Toy Story at 6+, but honestly, I know my nephews do lego way advanced for their age. I think most kids who really like it do. It's more about the choking hazard so if her parents are comfortable with her playing with her brother's sets those age ranges are probably ok.
