Prepping small amount of hemp

I have just a few hemp inserts that I have to prep. I know that I cannot wash them with my microterry, so it is just such a small amount. Like maybe 5 liners/inserts total.

So, what do I do? What have you done when it is just a few items?

I bought Allen Liquid detergent and was told to use .5 ounce for a load and to use the highest water setting. So, should I just do this? It seems like such a waste of water and detergent for such a small amount.

Also, if you think hemp inserts are soemthing I should get more of, I am not opposed to buying more to prep even if I wont need them for a few months.

You can also toss them in with your regular laundry. Just make sure to use your CD detergent for those loads.

Oh really? That is good to know. But I still need to wash it like 5 times?

My prep routine involves five wash/dry cycles, but you could start using them earlier than that if you're in a pinch.

I'd just wash them with towels 3-4 times.
