newbie
hi girls, i'm a knot transplant that has signed up for a new SN but TB has me in a waiting period....and i'm simply becoming too impatient for it to stop.
anyways..i'm not very far along, somewhere in the 4-6 wk timeframe (i'll know more when i get my US done), but i'm in the market for an ob/gyn. i originally saw dr. corey in pleasant hills, but that was only because he had the first available appt when i needed someone to confirm the pregnancy. i'd rather not travel out that far (we live in the city), and i'm not super thrilled with how that office runs. so...anyone have any good suggestions? i naturally assumed that magee was the best route to go, but someone else suggested west penn. pro's/con's to those hospitals?
thanks girls! hopefully TB will let me use my new name tomorrow! they keep saying it's a 2 day waiting, but i've been waiting for 3 days now..lol.

Ditto this!!! I used them and I loved my experience!! Plus I love the idea of knowing who is going to deliver you. There are 7 midwives and you get to meet them all. As opposed to your Dr. who may or may not be on call when you gointo labor.
