TTC after 35

Introducing Myself

Hi! I'm 36 almost 37 with no kids. I was married May 08 and my husband and I have decided to start TTC May 2010. I was laid off in May 09 and my H was recently furloughed to part time at work, so things have been rough. However, we recognize due to our ages we need to get started and as long as H's job is stable in May we'll get going. We just decided this today and I am now looking into FF and charting.

I'm very excited to have found this board. I am very active on my anniversary board on the nest but since I got married at 35 everyone is a lot younger than me. I'm looking forward to connecting with some women my own age. Between the nest and being in school, I feel like the oldest person around sometimes but I certainly don't feel old at all!!

Me:39 Dx LPD, Fibroid, AMA and all that goes with that. H:37 Dx low motility and low morphology. TTC since 3/12. Clomid 8/12 and 9/12: BFN. 11/12 on a break for Myomectomy sched. 11/26. Resume TTC early 2013.

  • Maryland-

Let me be the first to tell you that 37 is the new 25!!! Even though it doesn't feel like it sometimes.  I think I'm just trying to kid myself as my 36th b-day is on Easter.  GL TTC and keep us all posted.

  • Hi and welcome!  Sorry about your current job situations, but good luck with TTC.
I give up trying to get a ticker.  I have a DD that is 2.5 years old and is awesome.  Maybe I'll add a quote to distinguish myself.  Hmmm.  How about...
