I noticed this morning that it takes my thermometer a good 3-4 minutes to register a temp. With a toddler, this is sometimes difficult when she wakes up upset and I have to temp before getting her.
Is that longer than most? How long does it take for yours to register and what brand is it?
Re: How long does it take to read your temp?
Mine is Walgreens too. Maybe I am just difficult to read. I think if I am unsuccessful this cycle.
Even though it does this, I have not had a problem seeing my shift. That is all that matters.
Same here.
Me too, usually right at 3 minutes!
This.
Usually I don't time it but it always seems long. This time I noticed when I started and when it beeped. It was WAAAAAAAY long.
Mine too. Glad I'm not the only one!
Yep!

Good to know. I'm on my first cycle, so still not entirely trusting. I am far to impatient to wait 3 minutes for my temp, so definitely want to keep giving this one a try.
I feel the same way about this. I feel like my CVS BBT takes even longer when DS is upset. Far be it for DH to go get him... I temped before he woke up today, and I fell back asleep while temping then the beeps woke me up! It's definitely at least a couple minutes.
If it is during the week DH gets out of bed to start getting ready for work at 4:30 and is out of the house by 5:30. If he is in the shower it is up to me. I usually temp at 5:30.
