  Update:  I see the Peri tomorrow for my first weekly appointment, BPP and NST.  Plus I have a growth u/s, I have not had one for about 5 weeks so I am excited to see weight estimates for the twinlets   I am also excited since DH is able to come with me too, he has not been at an appointment since my amnio at about 16 weeks.  32 weeks tomorrow too, yay!!  Oh, and I can no longr fit behind the steering wheel of my car and reach the peddles too, lol. 

   QOTD: I have been fortunate so far not to be on any restriction nor have any complications aside from anemia.  I know that can change very quickly, especially at the end, so I look forward to reading your tips.  If you happen to be stuggling with anemia, aside from iron supplements, my Peri has recommended cream of wheat, high iron cereals (those with 100% iron), and meat to name a few, some nuts too such as almonds.

  Update: I am 36 weeks today! Yay! I see my MFM tomorrow for more accurate ultrasound measurements, but at the BPP on Monday, the tech got Baby A at 5lb 12oz and Baby B at 6lb 15oz! I am excited to see what the MFM gets for weights on their fancy machine!

   QOTD: I have been on modified bedrest since 28 weeks. I am very lucky to not have it be strict bedrest! I'm not sure how those gals do it! I guess my biggest piece of advice if your on modified bedrest is to pace yourself! It is suprising how quickly you can cross that line between getting things done and doing too much. Also, I know that what I'm doing is best for my babies, so you will make do with what you have to do (whether it be money, housework, career, etc).

  Update:  To everyone's surprise, I'm still pregnant!  My c/s is scheduled for this Friday, April 2nd and I'll be 37w4d along.

  QOTD:  I have been on modified bedrest since 28.5 weeks.  Have been having a lot of BHs since 15-18 weeks and they got out of control around 22 weeks (like 12 an hour at times).  Thankfully, they didn't shorten my cervix.  My advice is to take it very.very.easy.  I believe that is why I'm still pregnant.  No amount of salary (working despite being exhausted, having issues, etc.), no career goals, no chores, no family obligations can outweigh the one and only chance to gestate the babies to full term if at all possible.  GL to all the MoMs to be!

  Update:  Last day of work today!!!!!!

  QOTD:  I will be out of work tomorow on a very modified bedrest.  I'll get a couple of hours of activity in the morning, afternoon, and evening, so I'm interested in the tips people give.  I have a list going of projects I can do that aren't physically exhausting (for instance my wedding photos have been in a shopping bag for 4.5 years and will hopefully make it into an album now!), plus I'm going to keep up on my reading and try to read "ahead" while I can-- about sleep cycles, etc.

  Update:  We had our big u/s and found out we're expecting two healthy girls!  Everything has been going smoothly so far.  I have had a little problem with high blood pressure so they're monitoring me closely, but it seems the only time it is raised is when I'm at the doctor's.  Every time it's taken anywhere else it's normal to low.  I need to learn to relax going in there I guess.

  QOTD:  I've been lucky so far not to experience any complications.  Of course, the slightly high blood pressure has me always aware of the possibility of bed rest, etc. in my future.  Can't wait to hear tips from other MoM's on how they deal.

  I've been on bed rest since week 28 (I'm 35 now), and honestly, I have not found it to be too awful. I picked out wedding photos, taught myself Adobe photoshop and illustrator by watching an online tutorial, I've made a BILLION hair bows for the girls' first few years, kept up with thank you notes, created their birth announcement and baptismal invitation, etc... And some days I just watch Food Network, What Not to Wear, and Say Yes to the Dress. Some days I feel like doing things and getting things done, others I don't. Just take it as it comes. And ENJOY it. Also, when I did cook, I tried to cook something that I could double and freeze (meatloaf, spaghetti sauce, casseroles, etc...). That has helped me feel productive as well. Anything I can do that also lets me focus on the babies has been great. I feel more engaged and useful. Here is the website about bow making. https://www.girlythingsbows.com/tails_down_bow.html
