3:30am Fire Alarm goes off.....

because the battery was dying UGH!!!  Talk about having a heart attack.  And of course it was the one on the cathedral ceiling so we had to pull out the Little Giant Ladder and attempt a dangerous feat.

Cullen soothed himself back to sleep after 2 alarm wails - I am so proud of our big guy!

Now everyone change all your batteries this weekend so you don't have to spend 45 mins up in the middle of the night changing batteries and hoping your LO's can sleep through all the noise :)

  • Oh geez, definitely heart attack! Glad it didn't disrupt your LO too much. Smile

  • I had the same thing happen to me a few days ago while DH was gone on a business trip.  It was about 4:30 AM.  We have really high ceilings so I have to get the ladder out of the garage to  get it down.  Unfortunately I had a hungry DD at the time too.  Crying   So I had to tend to DD who was hungry while I listened to the beeping of the fire alarm.  I wanted to take it out back and beat it with a baseball bat by the time I was able to get to it.
  • omg...my first instinct would have been to grab dd and run out of the house and not even think to check the darn alarm.
