NER: Fat Tire Beer?

anyone have this sold locally willing to ship me a 6 pack? lol

DH's birthday is the end of April (the 30th) and we discovered this beer while out in Colorado on our last vacation. He seriously will not stop talking about how delish it is.

unfortunately MD has a law where i can't buy alcohol across state lines and have it shipped to me. but i don't think there are any restrictions on private shipping.

i would drive a great distance to get it, but unfortunately there are no distribution points anywhere near here :(

  • I can ship you some as well (if need be). I feel SUPER sad for where you live to not enjoy that deliciousness on a regular basis!

  • per their site: We currently only distribute our beer in AR, AZ, CA, CO, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, MN, MO, MT, NC, ND, NE, NM, NV, OR, SC, SD, TN, TX, WA, WI, and WY

if there was a PA, WV or VA in there i'd be done, even a DE or NJ would be far but do-able for my awesome hubby.

Most, if not all, states have this law.  It's all got to do with taxes (of course, what doesn't?)  Have you tried asking at a locally run liquor store if they can order you some?  I've done that with a wine I really wanted and no one carried.  Sometimes you have to buy a minimum but if their distributor can get it to the store then most have no problems specially ordering.  Worth a try for the future!
  • i really can't believe they don't have it at some beer specialty store there. They carry it in the grocery stores here and we got some in Charleston SC, and on the NC shore before. I can't imagine they would make it to the South but not the mid-atlantic states. It is good :)

  • Ah, nevermind.  I now see what you found on their website.  Unless a liquor store has a distributor from another state that wouldn't help you.  Sorry!  Hope you get it figured out!
  • yea... found this little handy map online: https://wineinstitute.shipcompliant.com/Home.aspx?SaleTypeID=1
