Swimming lessons!!

Speaking of the Friendship Center, we enrolled yesterday in parent-taught swimming lessons for DS!

The eight-week series starts this Saturday, and I'm so excited to see what tricks they have to teach an 8-month old to swim!

That, and I can't wait to see how he looks in his little swimmie trunks. :)

    I was looking to enroll my son in swim classes.  I forgot about the Friendship Center. Thanks and GL.

    You are going to LOVE Mr. Mike who teaches the babies...he is so super good with all the kiddos! I have had my son in lessons starting at age one and there were babies as young as 6 months in his class.  There isn't a whole lot of "teaching" as just getting comfortable with the water.  We are in the Tuesday evening class starting tonight but we have graduated to Parent Tot II...let me know how you like Mike!!!

    I don't know Mike personally, yet, but he worked with my MIL for more than 10 years and my mom now works with him.  And I went to school with his daughter. :)  Although the Frienship Center was confused over what lessons they offered when, Mike straightened things out for us!

    LOL, I think EVERYONE knows Mike in some way or another.  My Father was on the School Board with him and he aslo taught him how to swim when he was a child...small world!
