I bought some fitteds from Spots that are kinda stiff after being washed/sunned and tossed in the dryer for 20 mins. Should I strip?

What kind are they? I've found that some diapers end up crunchy no matter how they're cared for...or maybe it's just me. I bought a lot of my KL0s used but bought 2 of them new just so I could compare how they feel. Now they all feel the same...crunchy-ish. I got rid of the worst ones and kept the softer ones, but it still seems they will never be like they are new. Same goes for Cricketts. Those are stiff as a board sometimes. And all my fitteds that get line dried are stiff unless I put them in the dryer first.
Did you toss in the dryer before sunning them or after? I find that they are softer if you dry them about halfway in the dryer before letting them line dry.
