I have a sweatshirt that I can't get rid of (paint stains) and I won't use - any ideas of what to do with it? I don't think it'd make great cloths, to be honest.

How does the inside fleecy side look? You could make a cuddly taggie monster for your LO. I made them for all the kids in the family for Christmas, but I used fleece. I would think an inside out sweatshirt would work though.
My older DS loves his, my littler guy is indifferent, but really little ones are supposed to love the ribbons. Even if they're not little though, the ribbons give them character.

Unfortunately, it's not quite soft enough. Good idea, though! If it was softer I might have done one for my niece - DS wasn't ever a taggie blanket guy.

DS isn't a taggie kid either, but he loves his. More to make it growl and chase people around the house. The tags are more for a funky hair than anything. I wish I could take a pic of theirs and post them. They were fun to make. My niece can't sleep without hers, and she's 5. If you ever have some scrap fabric, you could knock it out in a few hours.
Hmm...then I have no clue what to do for usage...do you have pets? A pet pillow?

Hmmm - we do have a dog. I wonder if I could venture into making dog toys... I have a lot of scrap fabric that would be good for filling. It's amazing how much those things cost at the store. Thanks!
