And the polyp is out!
It was SO small that I had to wonder if in fact it was really necessary to pay THAT much to have it taken out, especially in light of my crappy b/w (AMH, etc.) which indeed show DOR and in fact my RE is likely right about poor egg quality causing my c/ps.
But I survived the procedure, and my worst side-effect has been the still-swelling vein in my left hand from the IV.
I hope to see the images on Thursday when I go in for my follie check. I didn't get to see the RE afterward (it was the other RE who did it since mine is with Mickey Mouse this week). I'm hoping what she took out was bigger than what I saw!
If I don't get pg this cycle, I'm sure I'll be getting more aggressive next cycle based on my bloodwork. And that means weaning, but at this point, that's OK.
When can we evolve enough such that 35 years old is deemed a GOOD time to have babies???
Thanks for everyone's awesome support these last two weeks about the c/p, egg quality question, polyp questions, etc!
Should I ask for my $2000+ back for them to put that tiny thing back in, LOL?

Glad it went well! I'm sorry to hear about the AMH - I had missed that
STILL - you've conceived and that alone means you have eggs left and that they are capable of fertilizing. Now it's an odds game. You're not out!!
(ah - and btw - I asked D about the yearbook. He didn't have his pic taken - dork.

I'm glad to hear it went well. I'm in the same boat as you. They are making all this racket about the tiniest little polyp ever. I'm in for mine tomorrow.
P.S. Did they tell you Advil was a no no? If so, what did they give you for pain killers? Or did you not need them?
Thanks, everyone! Yes, that was expensive stress relief, but at least now I don't have to worry about it any more!
epphd, yes, my AMH came back at .17, so quite low. My Inhibin B was fine though. So I have good FSH and Inhibin B, and a bad AFC and AMH...the ones that count. I'm sure I'll be discussing a gameplan further if this is a BFN. And too bad about the yearbook -- I figured that had to be it!
Christa, my REs actually told me that it was small and not to worry about it. We've known about it since Thanksgiving, however, and with my c/ps I couldn't help but wonder. If I had gotten my b/w back before yesterday I might have come to a different decision, but it was a very stressful decision given the $ involved and my drs telling me that it was "highly unlikely" to cause any issues with fertility or pg. At least now I have the peace of mind that it's gone, but I still wonder if it was necessary. Good luck tomorrow -- you'll be glad that it doesn't go with you to CR!
To answer your ?s, they told me that I could take ibuprofen this afternoon if I needed it, but I haven't needed it...yet.
The anesthesia (IV) and numbing meds during the procedure were all I needed.
