We have a straight slide... there is a plank w/a rope to climb to get to the top. DD LOVES it!
Can she do it by herself? ILs gift to DS for Christmas was a promise to buy a wooden swingset, we are supposed to pick one, but none of the affordable ones seem to have stairs (those range well over $1,000, from what I see) and I don't want to bother with one if I have to help him climb the ladder every time. Selfishly, I'd love to sit in the shade nursing my newborn while I watch DS play independently.
Maybe I'm underestimating him -- can most 2 year olds get the hang of a ladder or net or whatever most of these wooden sets have instead of stairs?

The one we are looking at from Menards is $950 right now - I doubt she can do it by herself right this second, but I anticipate she will be able to within a few weeks...or am I off my rocker?
