I'm going to try Charlie's Soap for my cloth diapers and I have two questions:
1) Do you ever use the liquid version, and, if so, does it work as well as the powdered? My local WF carries liquid only, and while I'll order the powdered version, it'll be nice to know that I can get liquid locally as a backup.
2) Do you use it for regular laundry, and, if so, do you also use a separate fabric softener?
TIA!

We switched all household laundry to Charlie's while I was PG and had to wash several loads in it before noticing it reached its full potential. The first couple loads smelled funny but as I read about it online I learned that it was because the Charlie's was stripping our washer of years of build up in the process.. so that was the smell. After a week or so, clothes were looking great with no smell and no need for any fabric softeners.
We've only ever used the powder.
