If it helps at all, the morning before I went into labor, I went to lunch, a movie, and for a long walk. I guess all the walking around helped because 10 hours later, I was in the hospital.
Just be thankful you are not on bedrest! 4 LONG weeks of bedrest, where you really can not do anything but lay on the couch is really hard! So get out, enjoy your free time, walk around the mall or target or anything!

Good point! I'm going nuts now, I can only imagine if I had to stay put no matter what. It's raining buckets over here today so getting out of the house wont be pleasant. But tomorrow and the rest of the week are supposed to be beautiful! I will be out and about to keep myself sane.
Paint your toenails, read a magazine, and eat ice cream. Oh, and sleep. You're right - it's going to be a looooong time before you can do any of that again!

I loved my 4 weeks off before baby! I don't know where the time went, but it sure went fast!
this...I don't know where the time went... I'm still not ready despite doing things all day long. Of course the first week I slept most of the day away.

With DD I was on "leave" for an entire month before she was born. I went a little nuts near the end.
Get a massage, pedicure, read a book, take naps, go to the movies, do ANYTHING that you won't be able to enjoy once the baby's here!

Sleep and enjoy eating as much as you can!
Once the baby comes, it's hard to remember to eat lunch even if you get the chance to.
