I didn't tell you about my scary dr.'s appt yesterday!

Everything was going good and dr. got out her doppler to listen for the heartbeat. 

Moved it all over my belly; up, down, left, right.  Nothing.  Then she lifted it up off my belly and it was making a weird noise.  So she went and got another machine. 

In the mean time I am laying on the table FREAKING OUT!  All I can think is, "Why doesn't my baby have a heartbeat?!?"

She came back with another one (it seemed like it took her forever) and found the heartbeat right away. 

I almost had a heart attack while waiting. 

And on a postitve note, today I have noticed a lot of movement.  It's really weird!

    I would have been scared out of my mind too.  Glad it was a technical issue.

    Yikes!

    My doctor scared me a bit like that once - at my 12 week appointment, the hb was really faint. She asked if I had my NT scan yet and I said I was going that afternoon (they sent me elsewhere for it). She said 'okay I was going to do an u/s just to make sure everything is okay but since you are going this afternoon you can just wait.' I was like UMMMM ya I can wait in agony not knowing for three hours!!! Luckily everything was fine.
