Here is a run down of things I have had in my yard since moving here in Oct.
- roosters (two different ones at different times)
-chickens (lost count)
-goats (5 at one time)
-wild turkeys (3)
-deer and one buck (odd to see a buck)
-cows in the road next to my house
-then your typical TN rodants (skunk, opposum, raccon, etc)
Here is what I currently have in my yard....
a cow.
On Saturday, Allie kept yelling horse. We finally get up and look outside to see a horse running down the road full speed. He had broken his lead and ran into the highway. Police were driving down the turning lane and the opposite side of the road trying to stop the horse. There were all kinds of farm trucks and hands up and down the road.

Re: I am starting to wonder if I live on a farm.
If I saw a horse galloping down the road, I'm pretty sure I'd jump out in front of it all National Velvet style.
"It's skipped a beat, just like Edwina said"
LOL. I usually don't jump in front of a horse unless I have a whip or lead line to swing at it for directional change. I've been run over before..not fun.
He was pretty terrified. You could tell something spooked him, before he hit the highway. I wouldn't get too close without knowing him. Horses can be deadly if you don't know what you are doing. I let his owners and the cops handle him. lol
