sposies Reek!

i've been watching a friend's little girl the past few days, and they use Luvs sposies. ICKKKKK! Those things really reek! And they get even worse after they are used! I have to empty our trash about every day now, and we usually only empty it once a week at most!

    They do!  At least when we used Nature Babycares for travel they just smelled like ... paper.  I don't know why diaper companies put so much perfume & junk in them.

    I used to like the smell of them, made me think of "baby".  Now that we use cloth, as well as unscented detergents and baby wash on DD, I totally know what you mean.  We have to use sposies twice a week while DD is the nursery for church and my weekly Bible study--every time I pull one out, it's like...WHOA.

    OMG, that nasty baby shower game where they melt candy bars in diapers and you have to guess which ones they are?  Totally makes me want to hurl because of the smell of the sposies (and also because that game is grody).

    Everyone worries about the smell of CDs.  My sposie pail smells so much worse than the CDs.

    I HATE that game because it's just gross.  As for the smells?  I always just chuckle when my friends say "oh cloth diapering? That will stink up your whole house". Hardly. We'll be putting poo in the toilet not the trash!  Ugh. I cannot STAND the smell of sposies - even fresh out of the package they make me want to vomit.

    Those things stink so much our dog will follow around sniffing the butts of children that wear them while he never bothers DS' cloth diapered tooshie.
