Weight check went well! :)
E gained 14oz in 11 days and increased her percentile from 14% to 20%. She is now 11lbs! YAY! We have been giving her an extra oz and a half of EBM (or formula when I can't pump enough) after every single feeding and that seems to have put her in gaining mode, so we will keep doing it.
LC was pretty much useless to me - doesn't think she has a Type 4 tongue tie, but I am not even sure she knew what she was looking for. She said "everything looks great", but couldn't answer why E doesn't extract enough milk from the breast on her own. She kinda just shrugged. She also thinks my supply is fine since I am pumping 8-10oz in leftovers per day - I think it is less than average. She suggested I get enough fat in my diet to make sure my milk is fatty enough - if you saw me lately you would know E is getting plenty of fat in my milk - NO doubt about it! 
Kind of a waste of $50, but at least she is gaining!

YAY!!! And pumping 8-10 oz a day IS great, but you're right that it doesn't address a suck problem. Your supply could be a non-issue - E could still not be getting enough at the breast. Sorry you didn't more help. Are you still going to the ENT?

yay for weight gain! that is really great, my pedi said she likes to see them gain 0.5-1 oz per day in weight when BFing. i would try to get someone else to check and make sure she is not tongue tied...
and i think your supply is awesome if you can get that much from pumping after nursing!!!

Sounds like good news to me ;-)
I'd still get that tongue tie evaluated by an ENT...just to be on the safe side. I'd bet my bottom dollar that she has a tongue tie = suck dysfunction, and a snipped frenulum would go a long way towards helping her weight gain and avoiding supplementation...just my 2 cents ;-)
Dana - that is what my gut says too! Plus our LC in MD, who is AMAZING and has years and years of experience is 110% sure of it.
