that don't end in the -ie or -y sound...
Our last name rhymes with newly. DH likes Evie and Prudie (short for Evelyn and Prudence). I really like these names, too, but I don't like them with our last name.
We don't like the full-name names, we prefer nns as first names. That's just our style.
Re: Show me NNs for girls
These aren't all nicknames, but they are all short and without ie or y at the end.
Coco
Lola
Lilla
Selah
Lelah/Leila (pr. lee-luh)
Prue instead of Prudie
Tatum
Harper
Greer
Definitely not Prudie by itself. Yeiks.
Beth, Eliza, Lisa, Bekah, Belle/Elle, Bella/Ella, Gwen/Gwynn, Ada, Ana/Anya, Kate, Kat, and Tina, Stacia are the first to hit my brain. Lots more nick-name like but a lot of them end in ie or y.
