We went in '06...it was a large group of my family. We rented 3 cabins here: https://capecampresort.com/ since it was the most affordable for everyone. It is a campground though, which I know isn't for everyone. But we loved it, everyone got together for a campfire and we went to the pool too. The town the campground was in is called East Falmouth - and it's close to the ferries to Martha's Vineyard. There's a cute little aquarium and village which was fun to walk around. We also drove to provincetown for the day - they were having a big gay pride parade...so there were a ton of drag queens all made up walking the streets. It was awesome! But there were also a ton of guys walking around in speedos and pants with holes cut in the butt - so those with little kids didn't like it as much. From there, we drove to some bluffs and climbed up a lighthouse - we went to the beach and saw some seals in the ocean....it was very cool!!
its in Hyannis port. we picked it because it was pet friendly but the inn keeper was great- made breakfast everyday and had lots of handouts about what to do- hyannis port is really nice (and we snuck onto the kennedy compound beach..tee-hee) and you can get the ferry to Marthas vineyard about 5 minutes from the inn...
we might go back this year...we stayed in the bird room- had our own patio and bathroom and it was nice and quiet
