3rd Trimester

On Cards and such...do you sign your lo name?

When I get a holiday card from my family they will say To: Sept1799, DH and Daniella...

Even when they send a gift they have addressed the packaged to Daniella...

Well when I was writting out Easter cards and a card to my aunt and uncle for their anniversary (which is after the c-section) I just signed it DH and my name....my mom said I should include Daniella's name...but I was uncomfy doing this....

Any thoughts on this?

  • No thoughts on including the unborn baby's name on stuff... I'm just impressed that you send out Easter cards and anniversary cards for aunts/uncles!!! Wow!

  • No, I don't.  And I won't until the baby arrives.

But I do sign our dog's names on our past Christmas cards Embarrassed

  • On cards and such, no I do not.

However, this year on Cmas cards I signed them:

Love, Tim, Andrea, Brittyn, and Baby Girl #2 due April 2010

That was our way of telling friends and family that we do not see on a regular basis.

  • LO made the Christmas cards from this past year- I signed them from Rachel, DH, Dexter, and Baby S. For my thank you cards for my shower, I signed them Rachel, DH, and Baby S. I wouldn't sign them with the actual name just because that's a secret. We don't get anything addressed to Baby S. though- if anything, it's just addressed to our family ("The S Family".)

  • No, I don't.  I didn't even add it to our family Christmas card (I didn't even want to mention my pregnancy even though I was 18 weeks along).

They don't get added to cards until their here safely =)

  • I've put "Shan, DH & Bug" on Christmas cards or Thank you cards

If you're uncomfortable doing it, then don't

    That's totally different! ;)

  • I won't sign her name until after she's born. I did the same with DD1. We didn't even include DD2 on our Christmas cards even though I was 27 weeks pregnant by Christmas.

    I do this too. :)

  • I did on my shower thank you cards but only to grandparents, not to everyone.
  • We don't because we are keeping LO's name a secret from family until he gets here.

  • I only wrote From Little Buddy on a birthday card I got my husband from the baby. Mushy, I know, but it could NOT be helped.

  • Nope.  Honestly, if I got any card other than a shower thank you signed from an unborn baby I'd probably laugh.  But if your family is into it, why not?
