I really need to get things done around the house. We still have things to unpack and organize and my mom and sister will be here Friday. I try to get LO to nap, but she only sleeps for about 30 minutes. She's in a good mood and just hanging out in her swing, but I feel bad just leaving her there while I do things. I feel like I should be interacting with her and stuff. Anyone else feel bad about this?
Re: anyone else feel bad...
DD is happy in her swing right now. She was fussy when I was holding her/trying to interact with her.
I don't feel too bad - its not a habit, plus she needs to fall asleep, and this will help her.
At least you are getting stuff done and not just "bumping it up" like i am ;-)
We basically do this too. I carry her bouncer around the house and will sit on the floor and do stuff next to her, like fold laundry or clean out a closet. She seems content just to be around me, and in her fun bouncer. I need to get stuff done, or else I go nuts running around when DH gets home and can play with her. Feels like I never get a break.
As long as she is content hanging out, then more power to her!
