I just quit my job.

Wow.  I've been unhappy with it for a while, and it's just too stressful for me to go back to right now.  On top of that, I would be quitting as soon as I got pregnant again anyway because I'm not willing to travel next time (I know I'm putting the cart before the horse, but whatever).

I didn't think I'd be as sad about it as I am.  I've been with the company for nine years and I hoped to stay there as long as possible because it's a fantastic company to work for.

    I'm sorry you're feeling down about it GC! It sounds like it was the right choice though & I don't think you're putting the cart before the horse. I think you are being insightful & realizing that down the road it wouldn't work out for you.

    Yes.  My boss was so understanding, sad, and nice, but not surprised.

    Wow thats a big step. Good for you though, I'm sure it feels good to not have the stress of going back to work anymore.
