Nope - just came across it and it's one of those that I'm not sure if I like it quite a bit, or if it doesn't sit well, so I thought I'd see others' opinions.

Moira (not exactly sure how it is spelled) is the name of a cousin of my Grannie's or Dad's (not sure exactly how she's related).

I love it. It was on the short list for us for a girl name but doesn't go that well with our last name.

I love, love, love it!! It was my #1 name for my entire pregnancy but DH vetoed it. I kept asking him over and over again if his opinion the name changed but it never did. When my brother and his gf were visiting, I found out his gf's niece had the name Mara and mentioned it to DH. DH then said, "That's a really nice name." SERIOUSLY!?!?!? I could have smacked him over the head.

I think it's very pretty. DH dated a girl with that name before me so I frown upon it for personal use, but it's a pretty name.
