Intuition?

Did anyone here have a gut feeling that it was more than one baby even before your first ultrasound?

For the past week, I've been referring to the baby in the plural, as in "babies". A large part of me is almost 100% sure they're going to show us two babies on the ultrasound Friday. This kind of makes me feel crazy!

    No, I had no idea it was twins.  Good luck with your ultrasound!

    I had a dream the night before  I POAS and I met both my boys in that dream.  When my first u/s showed 1 baby DH refused to believe it.  When the second u/s showed 2 he did a told you so dance.

    Absolutely no idea!!!  The thought ran through my mind when I stepped on the scale at the OB's office for my first appointment, but I quickly threw it out laughing at myself.  I had gained a lot more weight initally than I had with DS.

    Perhaps I did, but I totally dismissed it and was shocked at the u/s. The morning of the 13 wk u/s I was standing in the bathroom at the sink and had a random thought of, "jeez, if its twins, daycare costs are going to be crazy!' I don't know why that even occurred to me, and I thought nothing of it. Until....

     Also, DH kept telling me he'd leave me if I was having twins (yep, he's a real funny guy). Good thing he was there at the u/s, because he wouldn't have believed me if I'd called with that news. It also gave him an opportunity to feel like a schmo and assure me he'd only been kidding.

    Good luck, but try not to be disappointed if its 1 baby. We've enjoyed our singleton 1st born so much!

    I did...I just knew I was going to have twins after my m/c...but I was still surprised when they confirmed it at the u/s....good luck! and congrats either way!

    I did too. I had a dream about it and believe the dream was real for a couple hours. After that dream the thought of having twins was just stuck in my head. At the ultrasound though I didn't believe the tech at all!

    I had a dream before I found out that I was pregnant and I was having twin boys, but I didn't think anything of it.  When we found out at the first U/S we were both shocked.  Now I am just seeing if I am really having 2 boys :)
