Pack diapers or buy at your destination?

It dawned on me the other day that perhaps it would make more sense to buy diapers on our trip instead of having them take up a to of space in the suitcase.  What do you usually do on trips?

EDIT: Does anyone know the various sizes Pampers Baby Dry come in?  I always buy them from diapers.com.  I'd hate to buy diapers at my destination and then have a ton leftover!

    We purchased diapers, swim diapers and wipes once we got to our destination. But did pack more than usual in our carry on.

    Depending on where we're going. If we're traveling within the US, it's probably easier to just buy diapers at destination (or maybe bring some, say for the first couple of days, then buy the rest). We went on a cruise with DD in October, we packed diapers; we're going to Mexico in two weeks, we're planning on taking diapers with us too (it'll be too expensive to buy them there).

    We're going on vacation in a week and are planning on buying diapers (and swim diapers) when we get there. But I'm definitely going to be bringing extra in the diaper bag.

    It depends on where I'm going. When I go visit my mom or IL's we buy them there because they live in big cities.  When we go to the beach or somewhere not a big, we bring them with us so we don't have to worry about searching for the right kind of diapers.

    Pack enough for 24 hours, then buy what you need when you arrive.

    I think all our trips have been to visit family so they have always bought diapers for us to use when we got there.

    I agree and would definitely say buy some when you get there (provided you're going somewhere where going to a store for diapers is feasible/not too expensive).  

    That being said, pack more than 24 hours worth of supplies.  You never know what will happen - especially if you're flying.  Put some in your diaper bag and some in your suitcase.

    Some people order from diapers.com to be delivered to their destination. We usually pack enough for the first day and buy them whereever we will be.

    For long weekends if we are using disposables, I just pack them.  Otherwise pack enough for a few days and then buy them at the destination if possible.
