Low freezer stash and have to travel

I just found out today that I have to travel for work next week for 2.5 days. I have about 30 ozs in my freezer stash. I am going to start pumping like crazy to try to build my stash before I leave but know I won't be able to get another 60 ozs in 6 days. Should I start giving LO some formula now so she gets used to it?I am so bummed as she has only had breast milk until now :(

    You woudn't want her first experience with formula to be when you are gone, right? So, I'd go ahead and give it to her now.

    Definitely start ASAP.  I am in the same situation. I will go on a trip next month for a full week.  I will be short by 30 oz so we started mixing Enfamil and BM in one bottle at night.  We started 75% BM/25% Formula and last night was 50/50.  DD does not mind. 

    I am also pumping and taking Fenugreek to help with the freezer stash.

    I'd only give her a little bit of formula to make sure that kind won't upset her tummy. Then have DH or whoever is feeding her while you're gone add in a little bit of formula to each BM bottle. That would help the BM go further and then your LO won't have to ever get all formula at one feeding.
